New work hitting the stands is the perfect start to the new year! I shot this feature of artist Pooja Pittie back in September, and I’m so pleased to see it in its glossy form in the current issue of Luxe Interiors + Design magazine. (And because there are always a few favorite outtakes, I’m sharing some of those below as well.)

During a recent trip back to Chicago, I was able to shoot two projects for Hence Interiors—the first was at the Hence office where I shot owner Katie Dryden in her gorgeous new space. For the second project, we hopped over to a nearby Lincoln Square residence that Katie has just put the finishing touches on. Some previews, below!

After months of delays due to furniture delivery snafus and (of course) Covid, the final room for my West Hollywood project with Jessi Eve is finally complete! Here are my images of the long-awaited family lounge (and yes, I drooled over this home just as much during this second visit as I did the first).

So fun having two different projects I shot featured in the current issue of Adore Home Magazine! This one was shot for Casework Interior Design and features the gorgeous kitchen of the Hightower Showroom. What a stunner!

And just like that, I’ve gone bicoastal! (Lake Michigan counts as a coast, right??) As of now, I’ll be primarily based in Los Angeles for at least the next year. I could never stay away from my hometown of Chicago for long though and am planning to be back and forth between the two cities as much as this *#@! pandemic will allow. So whether your project is located in Los Angeles or Chicago, please continue to get in touch!
Excited to share this feature from Adore Home Magazine’s current issue, featuring a Los Angeles interior that I shot a few months ago (styled by the wonderful Jessie Eve!).

I was more focused on being part of the protest than documenting it (and of not walking my bike into anyone while I shot one-handed with my camera phone), but I wanted to share these snapshots from Tuesday in Chicago and to make my strong support known for the Black Lives Matter movement, for justice for George Floyd, justice for Breonna Taylor, justice for Ahmaud Arbery, and for equality and justice for every Black woman and man living in this nation, which is so rooted in systemic and overt racism. My eyes are open, my ears are open, and I’m figuring out ways to educate myself and to be a better part of the solution (such as only working with brands that align themselves with these values). One thing is for sure– I will not be silent. BLACK LIVES MATTER.
