If you’re a sucker for old buildings like I am, then check these images out! I was hired by the team at Common Living to shoot “beautiful and romantic” pre-construction “before” photos for a property they had recently acquired in Chicago. Being a complete nut for vintage architecture, I was in heaven! It was hard for me to stop shooting all the details of this old, decaying gem…from the super high ceilings to the colorful peeling wallpaper and paint, there was beauty and interest at every angle. It’s almost a shame that it won’t stay like this forever, but I’m excited to see how the Common team will lovingly restore and bring this old South Side beauty back to life.
